ACQUISITION
Ghostlight has the resources to help you Locate, Inspect, and Purchase Vehicles for your production. Essentially, if we do not already have the desired vehicle in stock, we can find it through our network of alliances with car dealers, auctions and collectors we can likely find what it is you are looking for and manage its rental or purchase. Our DMV Services can also help take the headache out of the Vehicle Acquisition, Registration & Liquidation processes.
TRANSPORT
Ghostlight is a Federally licensed Class A Motor Carrier, fully staffed and equipped to ensure secure delivery of your Picture Vehicles around the corner or around the world. Our transport and logistics team can oversee everything from the delivery of a single vehicle across the country to the On-Set movement of a destroyed Tractor Trailer … including clean-up, removal, and disposal.
Nearly all Picture Vehicles are accompanied by some sort of transport challenges - Ghostlight is prepared to meet each and every one.
Single Vehicle Transport – Some times a full carrier is not necessary, just one car from point "A" to Point "B"… Not a problem.
Car Carriers – Ghostlight has car carriers at the ready whether you need them for a day a month or a year, anywhere in the country. Whether you need union drivers or want drivers to work on our payroll, Ghostlight has the equipment and the manpower to make it happen.
Landoll Services – By far the most versatile piece of equipment in the entertainment business today is the Landoll trailer. Cars, trucks, busses, planes, boats, heavy equipment, or even just an "odd ball" item, all can be moved with this incredibly versatile piece of equipment. Ghostlight has them at the ready, for long term rental of just to move whatever you need to move.
Oversize Loads - Think it can't be moved? Try us. Our large selection of equipment, and alliances with specialty equipment companies make it easy for us to get it done. From permits to pilot cars, landolls to low boys we can make your mammoth move.
PAINT & BODY
Our facility encompasses complete body and painting facilities. So from a simple "Blow and Go" color change to Show Quality chameleon paint it is not a problem. We also are equipped for peel coats, airbrushing and custom finishes to fit your exact needs, no matter how bizarre. And fast turn around is our specialty, whether it be repairing cars damaged in a stunt overnight or painting a car because the director changed his mind at the last moment having it done "tomorrow" is something we are used to.
UPHOLSTERY
Recover a seat, repair a door panel, replace a headliner, full interior restoration, or custom interior … you name it we can get it done.
MECHANICAL
Ghostlight is staffed to provide mechanical services both in our shop facility as well as on the set. Our A.S.E. certified mechanics can provide everything from an oil change to changing an entire motor. Already have a car you want to use? Ghostlight will inspect it and make repairs to insure it is safe and reliable for use on your set. Fuel cells, jump suspension, on set adjustments to make your stunt team look there best, our mechanical team will keep your production rolling along.
FABRICATION
Production often requires things auto manufacturers never thought of, that is where Ghostlight's fabrication services come in. Everything from tow tabs and quick-release doors to automotive bucks and custom chassis fiberglass body cars, You dream it … we build it.
GRAPHICS
Ghostlight offers complete graphic services. From simple vehicle skins and printed ads for buses or taxis to custom hand painting and airbrushing, even complete custom designed vehicle wraps. We will create the graphics, install them at are facility or have our installers on your set any time day or night, all you need to provide is artwork.
DMV SERVICES
While many may understand the urgency and last-minute changes of Production, certainly the Department of Motor Vehicles does not. For this reason, Ghostlight provides a range of Services designed to limit a Production's liability, keep it in compliance and avoid the maddening hassle of standing in line at the DMV.
CONSULTATION AND COORDINATION
The rise in sophistication and awareness of the current media consumer has led to increasingly elaborate Picture Vehicles, and vehicle sequences, often requiring vehicle expertise before the project is even "Green Lit". Production limitations restrict a Production's ability to hire a specialized employee for this task alone. For this reason, Ghostlight provides consultation and coordination services to help with everything from research, decision making and budgeting to logistics, cleanup and asset liquidation. No matter if it one vehicle sequence or a feature film shooting around the world, Ghostlight can help you plan and then turn that plan into a reality.
ASSET MANAGEMENT & PUBLICITY
Increasingly cars are becoming the stars. Ghostlight can help you capitalize on your vehicles' fame by simply holding a principal car for promotional shoots or managing publicity tours for your entire Picture Vehicle "cast". When it is all done we can even help you liquidate these famous assets for top dollar in the market that is just right for that vehicle.
